Do you Ever buy anything online?

Hey Guys!

I just joined a new MLM called Shop Wurld. I know what you are all thinking but hear me out! Its amazing and free! So why not make some money off what you already spend in a month?

I'm sure you have heard of viral marketing (ideas that explode with success because of word of mouth, such as MySpace and Facebook). If you know me at all, you know that I HATE multi-level marketing. (Hate may be an understatement...) There's my disclaimer. That said, this makes total sense. If you do ANY shopping online, then you might as well do this because it's totally free. You install a toolbar on your browser and it tracks every time you buy something from an approved vendor. You get paid a portion of whatever you spend, or your friends spend, or their friends, or their friends, or their friends, etc... You get the idea.

There's no commitment, so I figured "what the heck"!

Anyway, this has been in development for a couple of years and just launched a few days ago. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to get in on the ground floor of one of these things, but this time with no investment on your part, then you may as well sign up. I figured since I'm not investing anything, the worst that could happen is...nothing...

Click the link below and email or call me to let me know what you think of this.

http://contact.shopwurld.com/?rswid=UGJ3W9

If you have any questions let me know. If you decide to sign up my invite code is UGJ3W9

Keep in mind you can sign up as simply a Direct Partner and that means you don't have to invite anyone, just continue to buy your normal stuff and get money back. If you are signing up though becoming a Network Partner just means more potential in the long run!

Thanks Guys! I will keep everyone updated on my success!

I love it, and I hate it

Isn't my shirt so fabulous! I look pretty rockin in it :) I am lovin the kids in my scout group and they make me laugh soo much. They are so adorable and hilarious and completely BOYS. It makes me so excited for Will to be a little trouble maker and drive me crazy.

I am having a dilemma though. Do I approach it like a job, ya know take control, organize, and get my partner (who should know what she is doing) butt in gear? Or do I tip toe around as to not cause ward drama? It is so hard not to be critical but the lack of organization and direction is driving me crazy! When I leave the hour of scouts and have no clue what the boys should have passed off how in the world should they know. It sucks.

The leaders are all pretty cool and seem aware of my "situation" but my partner just doesn't seem to get it. I don't want to be rude, but I also don't want the boys to suffer. Any ideas?

Note to self:

Note to self: be careful when picking up heavy objects named Will!

I am finally feeling much better today. It was rough!

Pain aside I will take it any day to have Will healthy! I did however have a mini melt down last night because of not being able to take care of Will. It brought back all the feelings of Will being sick and in the hospital, and me helpless. It was a bit unexpected, but none the less humbling. Seriously not a day goes by that I am not grateful to have Will here! I think Heavenly Father definitely knows what he is doing when he puts us through trials. Everything always makes us more grateful, strong, humble, and closer when we endure and learn through our trials.

I am happy to say I stopped counting the months go by without visits to the NICU or PICU. I thought the day would never come. Will is such a strong boy and has changed our lives so much! We love you little man!

I couldn't help sharing this video I made forever ago again. I love it. I cry like a baby remembering all the feelings, but sometimes a good cry is what we all need :)

Not so preemie anymore!

Jamie used to tell me stories of her sister getting tackled by their 2 year old son who was a complete tank; just a solid muscular masculine boy! Sometimes people say 'tank' to be nice and not say fat, no, he was a tank not a tub! Anyway, it's funny because as Will is beginning to top the scales both Jamie and I are starting to feel it in our shoulders, biceps and of course backs. Unfortunately this week our large sack of potatoes finally got Jamie where it counts. She has been suffering with terrible pain in her back for the past few days. We don't know if she just pulled it carrying Will around or a pinched nerve, etc. Guess we'll find out! Regardless, having a big healthy boy seems to have some consequences we never anticipated! We'll take them though...

I love my Mommy!

Its official. My little man loves me! This is his new way to give kisses. It pretty much consists of him biting my face off but I love it. He has also started to give loves and cuddle in with a tight little hug around my neck. I LOVE IT!

Will has 4 teeth now! Oh yeah and he got all of them in 3 weeks. He is working on 2 more and the kid amazes me at how tough he is! Aside from the whole sleeping thing, he hasn't really been too difficult :) He was doing so much better sleeping thanks to Aunt Aimee and her new schedule she suggested. But the past few days he has decided to wake up from midnight on every 45 min. Its a bit rough lately. Cry It Out is our new best friend.

4,170 hits, Who are you people?!

So I just noticed that as of today we have had 4,170 hits on our little blog site... who are you people that are coming here? That's a LOT of hits! I think Will has a little crush somewhere... who is it? Who has a 7-12 month old daughter prowling our blog for a look at little Will? :)

Anyway, thank you all for your friendship and support for Jamie and I as two confused parents. I promise we'll figure out how to do it right one day (we'll probably be grandparents by then from what I understand).

Is it my birthday?

Yesterday I hear a knock knock on the door and to my surprise

FLOWERS! I stop for a second and ask myself, "Is it my birthday?", I reply to myself, "No. What? Then why am I getting flowers? And from who?" So I open up the card and find the sweetest little note from my adorable hubby! What a thoughtful guy :) Mike has been super busy at work and has been working late and decided to plan a cute little date night out. I LOVED it! Grandma Stacy came up and watched Will and Mike took me to a quaint restaurant called Faustina. It was perfect. He had then planned for us to go Ice Skating at the Gallivan Center but instead I opted to go grocery shopping. I know you are all thinking I am so lame but hey it was exactly what I wanted to do :) Love ya babe!

Test Run

Last night we had another fun refinery scare! This time it was the refinery to the South of us (which is good, its farther away) but this time Will and I were home alone (last time we were at the hospital with Will). I heard a bunch of sirens and stuff but when I looked out I couldn't see anything and the refinery to the North of us wasn't running their emergency sirens so I figured it was a bad wreck and went on feeding Will. Then Ashley called me and told me so I flipped on the news and started to panic. The tank that caught fire was full and the projected if it was to blow it would be very very bad. Four people were severely burned and two were life flighted from the scene. They hadn't started to evacuate our side of the neighborhood yet but I decided to be safe and get out just in case.

It was really interesting how my brain stopped working and I flipped into panic mode. It was scary. I just wanted to get out and couldn't think what I needed. Usually I have the diaper bag ready and of course it wasn't so I had to run around grabbing things. Bella thought we were playing a game and chased me around, it was funny. In a matter of 10 min (not quick enough if it were to explode!) I got Will and Bella loaded up and in the car. As I am just about to jump in I look up and notice Will's emergency kit. HELLO! I grab it and throw it in the back seat and off we go.

It was a great test run. I really understood the importance of having your emergency kits. My mom has always been a huge emergency kit buff since the Teton Dam broke and she experienced similar things. We always thought she was a little over board but I COMPLETELY understand now. Its not that scary when its just you, an adult, we can suffer. But having a baby changes everything. Shout out to Grandma B! Thanks for the comfort of having Will's emergency kit put together for us! We love you!

One thing I learned is to make a list and keep by your emergency kits so you know what you need to grab and the order in which to grab them if you have time. That way you grab the essentials first.

The fire department was as usual amazing (thanks Clark and his buddies at the fire station) and they had the fire contained really quickly. Mike met us and we headed home after hanging out for a few hours with Ashley. Thank goodness for good friends! We love you guys!

Me Difficult?

Our little Lola Bella got groomed today. It has been months and I am still having a hard time finding a good groomer. I have taken her to a different one ever time since moving to Bountiful. I picked her up today and had to laugh.

They charged us $5.00 bucks for a difficult dog charge! She does look a little ashamed in the pic. Hilarious! And she isn't even that much shorter than when I took her in. I just have to laugh. Don't you think every dog is probably difficult? Either way she looks puffy and silly. She always hates getting her head trimmed so they didn't really even cut it so she has a half floppy mohawk going on, not too cute! I wish my old groomer hadn't left :( She was amazing.

Bath Time

Bath time is my favorite time of the day with Will. Nothing is better than the yummy smell of a clean little baby! We officially give Will a 'big boy' bath now with no cushions or extra support. We transitioned him from his cushy thing to just a anti-slip mat (that he now hates) and now just sits in the tub like a big boy. He LOVES it! I usually end up walking out of the bathroom soaked from all his splashing though. We have also decided he is going to be a swimmer, the kid loves to kick!

Will has also recently decided that Mom and Dad don't really need sleep at night anymore. He has slept through the night pretty well for months now but this last few weeks has been wanting to play at night.

Any ideas all you Mommy's out there? We have tried a lot of different things but want to know what works for you. He still naps for a few hours in the day but that hasn't changed. We tried to add cereal to his milk at night but that gives him MAJOR gas! We have tried feeding him solids then a bottle but that doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas?

Is that Martha Stewart?

I FINALLY finished my artwork craft that I started FOREVER ago. Here is the finished project:

I am way happy with how it turned out. It seems to be taking forever to decorate the house though. It always seems like I have just a few things to finish up in each room. Some rooms still need a lot more work than others. I have loved finding my style and love everything we have done so far. My favorites are: Will's room (officially done), our room (pretty much done), the Mormon Holding Tank aka the Home Teacher Room (still needs a bit), the study/library (our first finished room), and our guest bathroom (only needs a bamboo, then done). I LOVE decorating!

Couldn't resist a little in your face for all those BYU fans out there! Go UTAH!

Oh to be healthy

I have decided that being 100% healthy is near to impossible for Little Will. The poor little guy got over his croup, only to be followed by a huge rash all over his back and bum now. I guess sometimes when kids get over an infection it can cause a rash as the final remnants leave the body. It definitely looks not fun. I wish I would have taken a pic last night because it was horrible. His whole back was covered in red, raised bumps that felt kinda like sandpaper when you rubbed your hand on it. All I have to say is I have one tough boy! He isn't even being very fussy and amazes me so much with his resilience and strength. I cant believe he is 8 months already and developing so much! He now scoots and rolls all over the floor to get his toys and is really trying to figure out crawling. If only that noggin of his wasn't so big :) He also has been ALL over the place in his crib. Its hilarious. This is what I walked into yesterday:

I guess he was trying to figure a way out. I absolutely LOVE being Will's mommy!

Finally

Finally, Will is rockin his first faux hawk!
