Halloween 2009

With Mike's birthday being on Halloween, it always makes thing interesting when we try and decide what to do to celebrate both. This year things were a little bit easier because our ward did a Trunk or Treat actually on Halloween, today at 3pm, so we were able to go to that and feel less guilty about ditching all our neighborhood trick or treaters while we headed to dinner tonight.

Arrg!

At the Trunk or Treat:

After the Trunk or Treat we came home to get our costumes on for dinner. Will is such a monkey these days and CLIMBS all over EVERYTHING! While Mike and I were getting into our costumes Will was busy getting into trouble:

Busted!
I swear he does it just to scare me! Usually he leans out really far while on one leg just to see what I will do. What a little butt :)

While I finished getting ready Mike dressed Will again for me:
Ha ha! He put Will's costume on backwards!

After Mommy helped out with Will's costume, we were off to Tucano's for dinner.

Daddy's Birthday

For the past few months I have been asking Mike almost every day what he wants for his birthday. Last night it was so cute when he told me he had finally decided what he wanted. He wanted to go to the toy store and let Will pick out a toy :) So sweet right? So we walked the aisles of Toys R Us over and over again until Will finally found the perfect toy. It was so much fun!

Happy 28th babe!
I couldn't wait to give Mike his presents this morning:
I think Mike ended up pretty spoiled this year with a table saw (from Stacy and Brent), gym shoes, 2 UofU shirts, dress shirt, tie, cologne (from Clint & Bev), casual shoes, dressy shirt, sweater, jeans, The Proposal (from me & Will) and the iTouch iPod he ended up buying for himself! So much fun! We LOVE birthdays :)

~18 months~

I took Will in today for his 18 month checkup, HIS 18 MONTH CHECKUP! Holy cow were has the time gone! Will is getting so big and learning so much every day it amazes me. I love taking him into Dr Allred and having both him and his Nurse shocked with how healthy the little guy is! Its so humbling to remember how sick Will was and how different things could be right now. I love Will soo much!

Grandma Bev's Halloween Party

Will and I came to Idaho Falls this weekend for Grandma Bev's famous Halloween Party!

Jess couldn't wait to get to Grandma's house so she started the party early, by playing dress up with Will as her model.

Hold still William:

Introducing, Chaquita:

Tisk, tisk, tisk!

"WOW"
We were dying of laughter! It was the perfect way to start the day!

Then we headed to the Party!
Isn't he the cutest Pirate ever?!

Jess was so much help with Will:
And even helped him play some of the games:
There was a fish pond:
Grandma even had a pinata!

And the happiest grand kids ever!
Thanks Grandma!

Mini-Me

Will is such a little mini-me of his Daddy lately and it just makes me smile! One of Will's favorite things each night is listening to Daddy play the guitar and trying to 'help' him. So today Will decided to be a big boy and do it all by himself!

Sneaky boy! He opened the closet, quietly pulled the guitar to the Home Teacher Room, and then softly started strumming the guitar!
Seriously such a cute kid!

Ogden Dinosaur Park

Today we took our Scout's on a field trip to the Ogden George S Eccles Dinosaur Park for a field trip. They had everything decorated for Halloween and the boys got a little scared in certain areas, it was pretty cute. Everyone had such a fun time and it was a really good time to see the park in the off season.
Michelle, Sam, Kade, Quinn, & John:
Outside with the dinosaurs:

We found this scary guy and NONE of the boys would get close!

Except Sam:
He was pretty brave!

They really were scared during this part!

Quinn, John, Kade, & Sam:

Michelle & the Scouts:
Notice my blinged out uniform! Its official y'all!
We had a lot of fun and it made me enjoy my calling a little bit more :)
