Great Gammy Kathy & Papa Dan

Today we headed to Brent and Stacy's to meet up with Great Gammy Kathy and Papa Dan for a late Christmas get together.  We had a such a yummy dinner thanks to Stacy and had a fun time watching Will open his new toys:

Kangaroo Zoo

Lately Will and I have been going very stir crazy.  We are dreaming of warmer weather and spending time at the park and not being cooped up in the house.  To offset our boredom we have been spending a lot of time at the Kangaroo Zoo and Will LOVES it.  He no longer sticks to the little kid slides and goes down the big slides with the big kids.  It's pretty awesome :)  We also have to walk through the mini golf when he is done and he for some reason loves talking to and hugging the mama tiger and the baby tiger!

So cute :)

Shakin' Up the Neighborhood

We got our sheet rock delivered today and I have to say it was such a production!

They pretty much blocked off the whole street and I think the whole neighborhood came out to check what was going on.  Ha ha it was pretty awesome!  Will was in heaven watching the 'big truck' and kept wanting to go outside and watch.  I am so excited to see the basement progress in the next few days!

Basement Take 2

In the last few days we have finished up all the framing in the basement, removed the door at the bottom of the stairs, and had all the insulation installed.  Its coming along!!!!

No more door!

Naptime with Jazz Bear

Mike brought home a poster of the Jazz Bear from the game last night and Will has insisted on dragging it around everywhere with him today :).  He even insisted he take a nap with it and this is how I found him:

I seriously LOVE this kid!

{20 weeks and a name}

I cant believe I am already at the half way point!  I am so lucky to be feeling great and am getting so excited to add this sweet baby girl to our family.

As you can see I am definitely getting bigger!  I am amazed at how strong this little girlie is already and am grateful she is as active as Will was in my tummy, I love it!  We also wanted to let everyone know we are pretty settled on a name, we are like 99% sure so we decided to share it with everyone.  We are excited for Emilie Olivia Scott to be joining our family and are excited for Will to meet his little sister Emmie :).  He is going to be the best big brother ever and already plays toys on my tummy to 'play' with his sister and LOVES to give my tummy kisses throughout the day.  It is seriously so sweet.  Emmie also gets pretty agitated when she can hear Will crying and kicks my tummy like crazy until he stops, I'm pretty sure these two kiddos already have a special bond and we are excited to see how are family changes this next summer :).

Maternal Fetal Medicine

Today I had my 20 week ultrasound and I have to start off by saying man was I impressed!  I assumed I was heading to the same place at LDS where I did my ultrasound with Will and my 10 week with this pregnancy but I was pleasantly surprised to be sent to the Maternal Fetal Medicine department instead.  MFM is a specialized office dealing with preterm and multiples and I was so glad my new doctor (did I mention how amazing and proactive she is!!!!) referred me there without me even realizing it.  The ultrasound tech and doctor were AMAZING and were so thorough and attentive to every detail and measurement.  The ultrasound took over an hour (compared to my other 10 min ones) and they explained everything in great detail.  Baby is doing great and is definitely a baby GIRL :).

Helping out in Idaho

My sister and her hubby headed to Mexico this past week for a fabulous cruise so Will and I decided to head to Idaho Falls to hang out with the kiddos.  We had so much fun with spending the days with Gammy and the evenings with Jess, Nat, and Ty!  We sure do love them!!!

Playing in the snow:

Will had so much fun playing in the snow with Jessie and Tyler but didn't last too long in the cold Idaho chill!

Will LOVES trying to be like the big kids and LOVED to play this headband guessing game with everyone:

So cute!  We were so glad we could make it and spend time with everyone.  Will LOVES his cousins and Gammy so much!!!!

Our Late Anniversary Celebration

Since our anniversary is December 21st and right before Christmas we decided this year to wait until after the holidays to celebrate our 6 year mark.  I was so glad we did!  We were able to really enjoy the time together and not feel rushed by all the holiday craziness!  We went out to dinner once again at Flemings and it was excellent as usual!  Plus as an added bonus they give you a box of truffles if your celebrating an anniversary so that was a nice little touch.

Since both of our gifts were wrapped kinda embarrassing we decided to come home and exchange gifts:

Yummy new cologne:

And new clothes:

I was pretty excited about my snowman gift:

I got new black cashmere gloves:

And wait, WHAT?!

A TRIP TO NEW YORK!!!!!

Seriously how cute is my hubby?!

I was so shocked to open each layer of the snowman and find another special touch to our upcoming trip!  If your familiar with my favorite movie Serendipity than parts of my gift will make a lot of sense to you :).  I AM SO EXCITED!!!!  New York has been in my top 5 places to visit since I met Mike and I cant wait to experience it with him.  We will be going in February and best of all it will be over Valentines Day, how romantic is that?!  I seriously have the best most thoughtful husband ever!!!!!

{18 weeks}

{18 weeks}

I am so glad I actually look prego and not just chubby anymore!  I am amazed at how much my body has changed already and most of all how strong our little girlie is already.  I can't believe I'm almost to the halfway point already, I think that means its time to bust out the maternity clothes right?!  I also think Will is somewhat starting to figure things out and has been really interested in the ultrasound pics lately and constantly wants to carry them around.  He has also started calling Larry (his teddy bear) his baby and takes care of him lots, its adorable :).  Will is growing up so fast and is going to be such a good big brother to his little sister!

[new year=new callings]

We were pretty lame this year for New Years and just went out to dinner as a family and that was pretty much it.  At midnight Mike and Will were fast asleep and I happened to be up still blogging so I rang in the New Year alone, it was awesome :).  We are so excited for 2011 and for all that it has in store for us though!  We were excited to get released from our second round in Nursery and even though it was fun to be in with Will we are looking forward to the change.  I got called to be a Beehive Adviser in YW and honestly couldn't be more thrilled!  It will be a great opportunity for me to grow and learn along some amazing girls not to mention the fantastic women I get to serve with!  Wish me luck!  Mike on the other hand got another not-so-glorious calling :(.  He is now teaching CTR 4..............alone.............with 12 kids.............he has his hands full!  Mike is such a good man though and I know will do an amazing job with the little kiddos and I just hope he gets a partner soon before he goes crazy!

We can't wait for all the fun changes of 2011 and most of all adding to our little family!  Welcome 2011!!!
