I seriously cannot believe my little baby boy turned 3 today! Where have the last three years gone?! Will is getting so big and he amazes me daily with the new things he learns and does. It seems like once a day I look at him and realize just how big my little Will is. It makes me sad but it also makes me one proud and happy mama! I am still more grateful than ever to have Will here and healthy and it is still something I try to never take for granted. It seems like I am constantly reminded just how blessed we are to have such a healthy little guy :).
The stash of goodies this year!
Happy Birthday Will!
Lots of new cars from Gammy Bev and Papa Clint:
More train tracks from Daddy:
And the much anticipated present.................
A new bike!!!!
We weren't even considering getting a bike this year for Will but a few weeks ago we were spending time with some friends and Will jumped on a bike and took off! We were seriously stunned! So I took Will around to some different bike shops and I was amazed how natural he is on a bike. The best part is the bike we got him is the size most 5-6 year old kids ride but Will fits it and handles it with ease! It is seriously so funny. All the guys at the shop were pretty shocked to see Will hope on one of the bigger bikes and just take off! Yep we have a pretty studly little man :)
Playing with the new tracks:
And with his awesome new cars:
And finally outside to test out the new bike!
Seriously it is too much fun!
We were able to call Aunt Whitni and talk to her via face time on our phones so she could watch Will open her present from NYC:
Will loved it and he had so much fun showing Aunt Whitni his presents!
For lunch we headed to LDS Hospital for our traditional celebration as a little family. Will was not too happy about having to take a pic out front though:
He couldn't run fast enough after the one pic I was able to take :)
I absolutely LOVE taking a few minutes on Will's birthday and heading to LDS to just be together as a family. Its always such a tender time for us and reminds us just how lucky we are to have each other. In some ways it feels like it was all some crazy dream :).
WE LOVE YOU WILL!
After lunch and a nap we met our cute friends The Burton's for a fun filled evening with his two best buds Austen and Chase. He seriously has so much fun with these two kiddos!
Will, Austen, Chase
After dinner at Gateway we hopped on Trax and headed up to the U to watch the super cross races. The kids were so excited to ride the train and couldn't wait to get on!
Will was in heaven:
We love you guys!
Once we got to the stadium Will insisted on holding Austen's hand :)
Mike found us some pretty awesome seats for a good price and luckily the weather wasn't as cold as we were expecting. At first Will was not to sure about what was going on though:
But once we got his hat on he was way more into what was happening:
And the boys ended up LOVING it! We had such a fun day with our little man and just love him so much! Will is such a fun and loving little kid and it makes life so much fun being his Mommy. I can't imagine life without him and I am so thankful for the chance to be his Mommy :). Happy birthday Mr Will!!!
