[hangin on]

Just another realization today that my kiddos are getting big!  I snapped this pic a while back and as I was flipping through my phone today it almost made me cry realizing just how big Mr Will is!  He is such a good big brother and is growing up so much lately.  We have even entered the 'dont kiss me mom' phase :(.  Some days (okay most days lately) I want to pause life and just cuddle Will and Emmie and try and hold onto the moments so I dont forget what is like to have them little.  It's definitely fun being their Mommy and I love how much they make my life complete!

Then there is this little lady!  Emmie is such a sweet little baby and is such a perfect addition to our family.  It has been so much fun getting to know her little personality over the past 9 months.  Emmie is super easy going and a really good baby but when she gets mad watch out, this girls got some lungs (and the worst cry ever!).  She constantly gets attention where ever we go (seriously who can resist those chubby little cheeks!) and loves to talk and smile.  She says dada, mama, and bubba (will).  Emmie is also an army crawling little monster like Will was and has started pulling herself up on things.  She rarely sits still except to nurse and even then she usually pinches, slaps, or blows bubbles!  She keeps me laughing thats for sure! 

Peaceful Will

Since Emmie joined our family I feel like Will has grown up so much.  Sometimes it makes me sad like I haven't been a good Mom while trying to adjust to two kids.   But sometimes it makes me super happy and super proud!  Will is learning so much each day and is such a good kid.  He is such a good helper and an great older brother to Emmie.  He has adjusted to having a sibling really well and truly just loves his sister!  He is getting big but moments like this he reminds me of my little boy ;)

Emmie meets Mason

While Will was at school today Emmie and I were so excited to see Heather's baby Mason!  He is so handsome and Heather is already such a great Mom.  Mason is almost 3 months old and already getting big!  So much fun!

Emmie doesn't really sit still very long but it was cute to see her interaction with baby Mason.  They sure are cuties!

Snow Fun

Will begs me almost every day to let him play in the snow and so today I made sure he got to play and have some fun!  He is such a happy kid and was in heaven dragging his toys through the deep snow :).

Gateway Children's Museum

I just wanted to quickly mention that for some reason these two kiddos LOVE playing under the table lately!  It makes me laugh and keeps them happy so everyone wins ;).

After a morning of playing under the table :) we headed to Discovery Gateway to meet up with Carrie and her kids to get out of the house for a bit.  Will and I have never gone to the museum and he had a pretty good time and the real helicopter he got to play in was definitely his favorite part!

I should've grabbed my baby carrier but I managed with the stroller and Emmie got a quick snooze in before lunch.  She is such a sweet babe ;).

Discovery Gateway

Today we headed to Gateway for a play date with the Burton kiddos and we had such a great time! The kids were so well behaved and had so much fun together. Will loved the helicopter and pretending to be the pilot. He made sure to keep telling everyone he was flying to Disneyland :). The boys also spent a good solid hour playing with the magnet wall and so Carrie and I had plenty of time just to chat, it was seriously perfect. We also grabbed lunch and even though the kids were tired they all did great! Emmie was pretty wore out and was sleep snacking (like her daddy ;) and it made us laugh! Today has seriously been one of those good mommy days :).

{slow down}

Today is one of those days I cant help but be blindsided by how fast my kids are growing up. As I sit here nursing little Emmie I can't believe she is already 8 months old, 8 MONTHS OLD! It seems like I was trying to adjust to having two kids and make it through post partum for so long that I somehow missed a big chunk of life. And all of a sudden Will is getting so big and learning so many things and growing up so fast! I want to pause life or rewind sometimes just so I can stop missing things. My experience with Emmie the first 6 months was so different than it was with Will but was equally as challenging in different ways. I truly adore Will and Emmie and just want to do the best job I can as their mommy and keep them little ;). I can't imagine my life without them and I am so grateful for two healthy and happy kids. I am truly a better person being their mommy!

Valentines Day 2012

We had a pretty laid back Valentines Day this year and I just love my little family so much!  It was fun watching Will get so excited to give Emmie his gift and help me get his school treats ready.  He is getting so big!

 These are Will's school treats and they ended up so cute!  Will loved scooping the fish in and helping glue the tags on.  So much fun!

Cabin Retreat

We made a quick trip to the cabin this weekend and Will was in heaven with the new Ranger!  He was content going for ride after ride.  It was a bit chilly but we had a lot of fun!

 One of Will's favorite things to do at the cabin is watch movies in Gammy and Papa's room ;)

Treat Train

Will is very creative these days and when I got done nursing Emmie this afternoon this is what I walked out to find:

 Will had meticulously made Bella a "treat train" with all of her treats.  It was so funny to see how precisely he had placed a treat in each square!  What a nut!  He sure is growing up and its so funny to see the things he comes up with :).

 A few minutes after we cleaned up the "treat train" I came out from changing Emmie's diaper to find this:

Haha what a stinker!  I'll take the "treat train" back ;)
