Home Project

When we bought our house back in 2007, we knew we had a lot changes and improvements to make in personalizing our new home.  Our very first start was the office, it was horrible!  Looking back at these pics makes me realize just how bad that nascar red room really was!  So after moving in on July 1, the next day July 2 we immediately started our one of many paint projects:

Holy cow we look like babies!  So funny to realize how much our lives have changed since moving here and starting our family.  Anyway I have been in LOVE with our office since I finished it and its been one of my favorite rooms in my house!  Here it is now:

 Aside from our stand in desk chair (our bankers chair just broke) the room is perfect!  Just perfect enough that Mike wants to move the office downstairs.  I am semi bummed but excited to freshen the paint and turn it into a reading/library room.  Should be fun and easy!  I will just add it to my ever growing to do list ;)

Em was in a super smiley mood today and I was trying on some different headbands on her and she was loving it!  So here are some fun pics of my sweet little babe ;)

Cabin Weekend [day 3]

Even though this little girlie has a pretty miserable cold she is still a pretty happy baby!  We are excited to get home though!

Cabin weekend [day 2-the blue angels]

Today was such a busy day!  We woke up and started our trek to St George.  The kids did pretty good and despite the nearly stopped traffic once we got close to the airport we made it.  The weather was pretty miserable to be out on an air strip but we made do for a while until it became too hard with the kiddos.  We had a great time but will definitely do things a little different next time we have the chance to see the Blue Angels ;).

 We watched a few of the demonstrations and Will loved it.  Will was in airplane heaven and had so much fun experiencing everything!

We packed up just in time as a huge windstorm picked up and made the dirt swirl and things got miserable!  Luckily we made it to the car in one piece and we made the drive back to the cabin.

Cabin Weekend [day 1]

We headed to the cabin today so we could go see the Blue Angels tomorrow in St George.  We were hoping to crash with Hougton's in their new 2nd home in St George but unfortunately they already had a house full of company.  We were still excited to be at the cabin and hopefully the drive to St George and back wont be too rough for the kids.  We got to the cabin and relaxed until the guys made it and Gammy and Will made an awesome car track on the sidewalk!

Disney on Ice

Today we took the kids to Disney on Ice and had so much fun!  Will was so excited and we weren't sure what to expect for our first time and the show definitely did not disappoint :).

 Will LOVED the Toy Story part and was in awe when Buzz entered from the ceiling.  It was so sweet watching him watch the show and be so into it!
