How does MY garden grow?

AMAZING!
For our first attempt at growing a garden we did pretty good! We have managed to grow cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and GIGANTIC butternut squash. We also have a bunch of melons that are doing really well. Notice there is no zucchini though, somehow we manged to kill the easiest thing there is to grow!!!!

COME HOME

Mike has been super busy with work lately. When I say super busy, I mean SUPER BUSY! Lets just sum it up by saying he is REALLY good at screaming 'THE SKY IS FALLING' and getting big corporate gurus to buy more insurance! I joke but he really is AMAZING!

Will and I have missed him though so tonight we decided to pick him up from work so he couldn't work late again :) It was perfect! We grabbed a bite at The Nauvoo Cafe and then spent some time in Temple Square together as a family. We watched the cute little presentation on the family and it was exactly what we needed to experience tonight. I LOVE MY LITTLE FAMILY!

End of Summer BBQ in Idaho Falls

After spending Friday recouping at home, we took off Saturday morning and headed to Idaho Falls for a few days with my family. My sister Aimee planned an end of summer BBQ at her house and it was so much fun!

Aimee making little flags for the different types of meat:
Ha ha I love it! What a dork!

The kids had so much fun playing!
Notice how Mikey is a kid too :)

My fabulous Mom:

Justin serenading Mike on the patio!
How sweet!

Then we finished the night up with haircuts for everyone!

On Sunday we had a fun time relaxing at Gpa Clint and Gma Bev's house. I think Gpa had the most fun showing Will how to use the digger that Great-Gpa Beard made!

We love you guys!

Lake Powell Take Two

We just got back from Lake Powell for our second round, this time with The Houghton's, and are happy to report we had so much fun! We decided to just do Tuesday-Thursday and it was just the right amount of time for Will. He was such a good boy (despite no binky remember?) and we even managed to get him to sleep at night without too much difficulty. The weather was absolutely perfect with overcast skies and cooler weather. Seriously we couldn't have asked for better weather with a little one! We both agree next summer Will is going to be at the perfect age for Lake Powell, we cant wait!

Leaving Salt Lake:
Will already wanted out but the time we hit Sugarhouse!
We made it to Stan's:
Where we all enjoyed a little Pepsi!
Loaded up and walking to the Marina to meet Gpa Brent and Gma Stacy:
In our Sunscreen haste we managed to get it in Will's eye:
His poor eye!
Ahh the lake!
Take it easy Daddy, Moms like 3 feet away!
Thanks Aunt Amanda for the Wave Runner!
Going for a walk:

Why are naked baby butt's the CUTEST?!!
(PS Isn't his birth mark above his cheek adorable:)
The Powelligator, AKA Houghton's Houseboat:
Dakota teasing Will:
Alisha helping Will 'drive' the houseboat:
Humm what's in here?? Is anyone looking?!!
Flirtin with Heather, what a little stud!
Early morning hike with Daddy:

I love my Daddy!
I love this cheesy smile!
He is such a boy!!!

Will loved playing with Dakota!
Helping Daddy drive the boat for real!

How two work-a-holics enjoy Lake Powell:
(driving to the Marina so they could get cell service!)

Me, Mike, Dakota Cliff Jumping

Will seriously loves the boat!

Gpa Brent and Gma Stacy's Boat:

Mike's tradition every year is to build a sand castle:

Mike and Jamie on the tube:

Did I mention Will LOVES Alisha?
He even let her put a hat on him and he didn't budge, too cute!

BEAUTIFUL Lake Powell!

And the LONG ride home:
But we made it! We are so glad we braved it with Will and cant wait for next year! Thanks Hougton's for inviting us and making us feel so welcome! And a BIG thank you to Gpa Brent and Gma Stacy for making the time to bring the boat up to Bullfrog and taking care of us! We love you!
