Date With Will :)

Mike came home early tonight so I could spend some one on one time with Will.  He has been excited for days knowing we would get some special time out together.  We headed to Cherry Hill for the first time this summer and had such a blast!

Emmie is getting so big!  Today during her bath I snapped a couple pics of this cute little growing girl.  She LOVES her baths just like Will did and she especially likes it when I wash her hair, too cute!

NICU Reuinion

We were so excited to finally be able to make it to a NICU reunion for Will this year!  They started doing them right after we had Will but this is the first year we were able to go.  They did such a great job of making it fun for the kids and it was a lot of fun to catch up with our favorite Nurse Sarah.  Its hard to believe Will was every a tiny little 6 lbs 2 oz and on oxygen.  I am so thankful to have such a healthy little guy today! 

Will's Room

We finally got Will's new bedroom pretty much finished!  I had it all painted before Emmie came and we had his new bed and he has been sleeping in it for a few months now.  We had some issues with getting the right dresser here and then I also had a lady working on some custom vinyl to match Will's bedspread.  Stacy also made the curtains out of the adorable fabric I found!  I am seriously just in LOVE with how it all came together!!!

I am getting a big picture of Will made up to go above his bed so I will post another pic when I get it up!  I also found a skull vinyl that I bought months ago and so I threw it in his closet and it is by far his favorite thing in his room!  Haha so funny!

Fathers Day 2011

I am so grateful to have such a wonderful hubby and an amazing father to my kids!  Mike is such a HUGE support to me and I just couldn't do it without him most days.  We all love you so much Mikey!  Thanks for all you do for us.

Sunday Snuggles

I was super nervous for the transition of Will having a sibling and everyone just kept telling me the worst of it.  It was so annoying to hear all the discouraging things!  But I am happy to say the first two weeks have gone seriously amazingly well!  Will seems to be adapting really well and hasn't once tried to hurt Emmie or throw any major tantrums.  I can honestly say I am struggling way more with the adjustment than Will is.  He is such a good kid :)

"Can I Hold Baby Emmie?"

Since introducing baby Emmie to Will I decided to just let Will come around on his own in wanting to hold his new baby sister.  I just felt like trying to push it on him wasn't a good approach and today it was reinforced for me :).  Out of nowhere Will asked if he could hold baby Emmie and he was so adorable with her!!! 

Will is being such a good big brother and it was so special to see him really study her over and be so sweet with her. I can honestly tell he loves her so much already. He held her for over 15 minutes (no joke!) and Emmie just sat there as content as ever. I sure do love my two kiddos!

2 Week Checkup

We took Emmie in for her two week checkup and last billyruben test.  Emmie is back to her birth weight at an even 8lbs again and just doing great.  She is in the 40% for weight and 77% for height. All her tests came back great and we are so happy to have such a healthy little girl.  I was kinda shocked when Dr Allred said we didn't have to come back until her two month checkup!  What a different experience than the weekly visits we made with Will :)

Aunt Aimee

I am so lucky to have my sister here with me for a few days to help with things.  My mom was supposed to come to but got sick so decided to stay home so she didn't chance getting the kids sick.  It has been so nice to have additional hands and someone to boss around ;).  Aimee has made meals, cleaned, moped, scrubbed my bathrooms and lots of other stuff!  She has honestly kept me sane and feeling normal again.  I love her so much and appreciate her coming so much.  I LOVE YOU AIMEE!!
