Since Emmie's billy reuben was high last night when they discharged us we had to take her in today and get her tested again. It worked out really well since we had to bring Will in today to get his stitches removed anyway. Emmie's appointment went great and her tests looked good so we don't have to do at home light therapy so we were pretty excited. It was pretty rough getting Will's stitches removed though and Dr Allred had a horrible time trying to get them out. The instacare Doctor that did Will's stitches did them so small and tiny that it was almost impossible for Dr Allred to cut them. Poor Will was slightly traumatized by the time we finally got them out!
I just LOVE our pediatrician Dr Allred. He is such a sweet man and has been such a blessing for us through the past 3 years. We know he is getting close to retiring and it just makes me so sad :(. He is always so kind and I know really cares about our kids and our family. Not only has he been an amazing Doctor but I will never forget his words of encouragement and support during our experience with Will and my postpartum this go around.
