{san diego day 2}

The San Diego was absolutely gorgeous!  The weather was perfect and it was such a special day for Amanda and Ben.

We flew home after the luncheon which made for a pretty fast trip but I was glad I was able to share in Amanda's special day.  Congrats you two!!!

My cute family and I are excited to be heading back to San Diego today to share in Amanda and Ben's special temple sealing tomorrow.  We couldn't be any happier for them!

Bwah ha ha hilarious!  Luckily there is a shade that comes down or that would make for some awkwardness since I am sharing a room with Aimee and Brandi.  It has been such a fun day with my family and we have had an awesome time enjoying San Diego.  We are excited for the big day tomorrow!

FHE with The Larsens

Our cute friends Mark and Melissa just moved to Layton and we were lucky enough to be invited over for FHE tonight.  Will LOVED playing with Noah and we had such a fun time tonight!

Tangled

Mike is out of town for "work" (aka playing in Vegas and golfing in St George) so Will and I called up Gammy Stacy and we headed to see Tangled in 3D:

{disneyland day 3}

We woke up early and used our early entry to get into the park an hour early for our last day here.  Will was so excited to have his own special ticket to board the monorail this time :)

We headed straight to Finding Nemo:

Nemo was definitely one of Will's favorites this year.  It was so cute to watch him!

We were excited to check out Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer's Island this year since it was closed last year.

This captures how much Will loved it!  He ran everywhere!!

I'm pretty sure he was seriously thinking about how to get that treasure!

And then headed over to CA Adventure:

Will and I were waiting for the big kids to go on a big kid ride and happened to catch the Toy Story Army Men show:

We finished out the trip with having a very memorable experience at LAX!  Will hadn't gone 'number two' this whole trip and so when we finally settled in at our gate he started doing the I have to go poopie and then refusing to sit on the potty routine.  So after I took him about 3 or 4 times Mike took a turn and when they got back I knew something funny had to have just happened!  When they got into the stall Mike couldn't get Will's belt off and so about then Will started screaming things like 'don't touch me', 'I want my mommy' etc etc.  So after a few minutes of trying to convince him to calm down and sit on the potty Mike finally gave up.  As he excited the stall he noticed a very large security guard 'washing his hands'.  The guard was kind of laughing and chatted a bit with Mike.  Its a good thing he could tell Mike was Will's Daddy!  We were definitely impressed with someone being so observant and getting security though just in case it was a bad situation.

I love how you can tell Will knows he was being naughty :) 

And sadly headed home!

We had such a fun time again this year at Disneyland!  It was a completely different trip with Will being older and we absolutely loved watching him experience everything again.  We definitely picked the best time to come and were surprised at how empty the park was.  It was so nice and we hardly had to wait for any of the rides.  Although it seems like I posted a ton of pics, we did so much more than I even documented!  It was so much fun!  We felt like 3 days in the park was just about right and cant wait to come back again!

{disneyland day 2}

We woke up early and wandered around the hotel while Gammy Stacy and Aunt Whitni got ready for the day.  We LOVE our hotel! It is so nice and has the cutest touches.  Like the fireplace with the mini kid chairs, so cute :)

We eventually decided to wait outside and Will of course found something to climb:

It is crazy how good of balance Will has!  He can climb anything and seems to have little fear which can make for a great combination.  Luckily a security guard almost immediately asked us to stop letting him climb so he had to be the bad guy :).

We had breakfast at the Story Tellers Cafe and Will was so scared of the characters! 

We love how close our hotel is to the park and again how empty it is!

We used our Magic Morning Passes to get into Toon Time an hour early.  It was so empty!  We missed the big parade though but Will didn't seem to mind.

Toon Time was so much fun this year!  Will was not at all interested in it last year but he loved everything this time.

Like I mentioned yesterday Will has insisted on walking everywhere which makes it so nice not to have to keep track of a stroller we're not even using.  However Will decided he was 'tired' and luckily Aunt Whitni was kind enough to carry him :)

I was so excited to see World of Color at California Adventure that just opened this year! 

It was so amazing!  Seriously it was awesome.  Will loved it and I think we were all surprised at how cool the show was.  We had such a fun packed day and just love it here!!
