Clark's Fire Station
Will has been asking for months to go to our friend Clark's fire station and check everything out. We were excited to finally make it happen today and invited our cute friends The King's and all the kids had such a fun time!
Class before the fun!
Will and Captain Clark
Cody and Will
Clark was so patient with Will and opened every single compartment on the engine and showed him every nook and cranny. He was so patient with the kids and the kids were in heaven!
They even got to practice a fire escape
And even spray some water!
Thanks again Clark for giving our kids such a fun and hands on experience!

Date Night with Will
I was so excited to take Will on a date tonight and its so fun to get some one on one time with him. We started out at Gateway and then got on the train and go to City Creek. Will was so excited to be on the train again!
There was a guy standing up holding on so Will had to be big too ;)
We headed to the play land and grabbed some dinner and Will played and played. He loves City Creek and so do I so we had a great time just relaxing. We headed back to catch the train and head home.
After we got off at our stop Will was so cute watching the train drive away. He LOVES going for train rides and we had such a fun date together!

VIP
Will had preschool orientation today and he has been so excited! Miss Char had us fill out a VIP sheet for a book they will be making in school. It was so funny to hear his answers and I wrote down exactly what he told me. Yes his favorite color really is pink right now, he still loves Milton Nose, and it was no surprise Cherry Hill is his favorite place to go. I just had to laugh when I asked him what is something he can do very well and he said "listen to my mom", haha!! Yeah right! It was cute though and he was really serious so maybe in his mind he does listen to me really well, I think we still need to work on it a little bit though ;).

Sunday in Heber
Ever since we went to St George with SherRon Will has been begging me to take him to see Uncle Dale's horses. We headed up this afternoon for some yummy BBQ and fun company.
Will was in heaven in the barn!
Uncle Dale kept the kids entertained :)
Will and his new friend:
Emmie plopped down on Aunt SherRon and made herself at home :)
We had such a great afternoon relaxing with everyone and just catching up. On our way home a storm rolled in and Park City was gorgeous!

Here a few cute pics from Flaming Gorge.

Camping 101 with Kids! [flaming gorge day 2]
Well, we survived the night! It was rough! Like really really rough! I think Mike and I got a combined maybe 2 hours of sleep all night and that was finally after 4am when Mike took Emmie to the Jeep and she finally fell asleep in her carseat. Sharing a tent with the two kids proved pretty impossible since they both kept waking each other up and laying all over us and each other. Emmie doesn't ever sleep with us so she was so annoyed that anyone was even near her. It was chilly so trying to keep everyone covered and warm left Mike and I smashed against the side of the tent blanket-less! There were so many moments in the night where we just couldn't help but laugh! But man we are tired today. I was so glad we only decided on the one night :).
Since we were up around 6:30 AM we decided to go for a hike and let Will lead. He was so excited getting to choose which way we went!
When he realized he had navigated us to the water (with Dad's help) he was so excited!!!
Such a stud :)
Taking a rest
Emmie had a great time too!
We were still the only ones up when we got back so we hung out in our tent and Will played ninja (like his ninja band!) and Emmie played with the camera.

Camping 101 with Kids! [flaming gorge day 1]
We were a little apprehensive to head camping this weekend with a group of our wardies but we caved to the peer pressure and decided to brave it. We left first thing this morning and it was a tight squeeze fitting all the necessities in the back of the Jeep! Luckily it all fit!
One thing we were not looking forward to was all the construction on our way to Flaming Gorge. We only got stopped at 2 places but it was pretty miserable and everyone was bored!
Finally once we were able to keep a constant speed Emmie crashed
We made it to Flaming Gorge and camped at Mustang Ridge (the same place I came for girls camp) and got camp set up first thing! Will was so excited to actually be camping finally!!!
And Emmie was so happy to be out of her carseat!
We headed to our groups spot at Sunny Cove and couldn't wait to get into the water!
Emmie and I spent our entire day hanging out on the beach together. She made good friends with the Kilpack's dog Harley and I was impressed with how well the German Shepherd/Lab mix tolerated her! It made me a little more open to the idea of a big dog. I honestly trusted Harley way more than some of the little dogs!
Mike and Will spent there day fishing, hiking, exploring and going on adventures! Both the Lythgoe's and the Jorgensen's had their boats and Will and Mike had so much fun boating on Chad's boat! Chad even let Will drive the boat and Mike said he had a blast :).
Here are a couple little video's of their fun!
I have to point out the cute little blonde sitting to the left of Will is Kaylee Lythgoe our babysitter and Will and Emmie LOVE her! It is so nice to finally have a regular sitter and someone we trust and can count on. She's a doll!
Emmie and I headed back to camp with the group to get dinner started while they got the boats in. Emmie was really such a great baby all day! She traveled well, played on the beach all day, and had done really well in the outdoor terrain. We had a great time around the campfire with Lythgoe's, Jorgensen's, Kilpack's, and Bryson's and its a lot of fun getting to know everyone better. Mike took Emmie on a short drive and she was out and we were able to transition her to the tent just fine. Will was dead tired and laid down without too much trouble and crashed! Both Mike and I knew we were in for a long night so we tried to get some sleep as well!
