Gammy Bev's Party Day 2

Today was day two of Gammy's party and Will had so much fun.  I ended up sick last night so we sent Will over in the morning while I got some rest.  When we made it over the face painter was there and was amazing!  Will wanted to be a 'mean robber guy' and had so much fun with his new look.

We ended up having to get back to Salt Lake so it was a quick trip but man it was a ton of fun!  Thanks again Gammy Bev!

Gammy Bev's Party Day 1

This afternoon we headed to Idaho for Gammy Bev's annual Halloween Party.  Will has been so excited for the party and couldn't wait to dress up in his costume.

 My highlight of the night was the monster dance off!  Will was so into it and it was so cute watching him :).

Scary Hill

Tonight we invited Papa Brent and Gammy Stacy up for Papa's birthday.  We headed to Scary Hill (aka Cherry Hill) and had a lot of fun together.

The Witches are Out!

This afternoon we headed to Gardener Village to check out all the witches.  Will loved finding all the different witches and running from place to place!

We just love Gardner Village in the fall.  Its such a fun relaxing outing for our little fam and we love just spending time there.

Emmie's 15 month Check Up

I took Emmie in for her 15 month check up today and we met with our new Pediatrician Doctor Leah Costello.  We really wanted to stay at the Memorial Clinic and were excited and hopeful to meet Dr Costello.  She was so perfect for us and I am really excited to have found another great doctor to take care of our kiddos.  We will really miss Dr Allred but I think we found another great keeper!  Emmie's checkup went really good and she is developing great and right on track.

Emmie understands so much and amazes us every day when we realize she is understanding something new!

Emmie is a climber and holds her own with her brother :)

She still only has 8 teeth but has a few molars coming in.

This little girl LOVES books!  She has to have a book to fall asleep with and is constantly sneaking into Will's room to steal his books.

Emmie is the sweetest most adorable baby girl ever!  We love her so much!!!

Sunday in Heber

Ever since we went to St George with SherRon Will has been begging me to take him to see Uncle Dale's horses.  We headed up this afternoon for some yummy BBQ and fun company.

We had such a great afternoon relaxing with everyone and just catching up.  On our way home a storm rolled in and Park City was gorgeous!

Well, we survived the night!  It was rough!  Like really really rough! I think Mike and I got a combined maybe 2 hours of sleep all night and that was finally after 4am when Mike took Emmie to the Jeep and she finally fell asleep in her carseat.  Sharing a tent with the two kids proved pretty impossible since they both kept waking each other up and laying all over us and each other.  Emmie doesn't ever sleep with us so she was so annoyed that anyone was even near her.  It was chilly so trying to keep everyone covered and warm left Mike and I smashed against the side of the tent blanket-less!  There were so many moments in the night where we just couldn't help but laugh!  But man we are tired today. I was so glad we only decided on the one night :).  

Since we were up around 6:30 AM we decided to go for a hike and let Will lead.  He was so excited getting to choose which way we went!

When he realized he had navigated us to the water (with Dad's help) he was so excited!!!

We were still the only ones up when we got back so we hung out in our tent and Will played ninja (like his ninja band!) and Emmie played with the camera.

Once everyone got up the guys made breakfast for everyone and then we packed up camp.  Our kids (and us!) were tired and grumpy so we decided to head home in good time.  It was a long dive home but we took a different route to bypass some construction and it seemed to actually save us time.  All in all we had a great time camping with our friends but have no desire to do it again anytime soon with our little kids!
