Scary Hill

Tonight we invited Papa Brent and Gammy Stacy up for Papa's birthday.  We headed to Scary Hill (aka Cherry Hill) and had a lot of fun together.

Cherry Hill with Friends

We have had so much fun this year at Cherry Hill and Will has LOVED having so many friends from the neighborhood there to play with this year.  Him and Cody King have turned into quite the little buddies and I have loved having Lisa's older girls Kelly and Katie there to play with Emmie.  It has been a super relaxing summer for us!

Emmie decided this past week that she wanted nothing to do with her infant tube so I stuck her in this little round one and she was a pro!  And not to mention super happy.  I think she just felt confined in the other one and this one lets her "wiggle wiggle" all over the place.

Underwater Camera

Today at Cherry Hill Lisa was there with her kids and I decided to let them play with my underwater camera that I got for my birthday.  I let them just have fun and I was impressed with some of the pics they captured!

Cherry Hill

Even though the weather was a little overcast and stormy the kids and I headed to Cherry Hill again anyway.  

The first little bit was kinda chilly:

But it soon warmed up to be perfect!

I forgot to mention that for my birthday this year I got a new underwater/waterproof camera and I am absolutely loving it!  I have used it so much already and it has been the best gift ever, thanks Mom and Dad!  Today I took in the pool with me to try and catch the kids in action!

Pirates Cove

I can just honestly never get enough of Cherry Hill.  It is worth every penny and the kids and I have so much fun together!

Cherry Hill with Gammy Stacy and Whitni

The kids and I were very excited to have company with us this afternoon at Cherry Hill.  Whitni just quit her job and we couldn't wait to celebrate a little with her before she takes off to San Francisco for a week and then Spain with Stacy shortly after.  It was fun having some time with them both and we had such a great day swimming!

Will was boycotting having his picture taken but I promise he was there with us.  

We decided to give Emmie a piece of dried mango and she LOVED it!

{Independence Day 2012}

Happy 4th of July!  We decided to keep things pretty low key this year so I ended up taking Will to Cherry Hill in the morning while Mike stayed home with Emmie.  I think everyone was at the parades so the park was pretty empty and Will and I had a great time.

Later in the day we headed to Gammy Stacy's for games and a BBQ.  

We headed to the fireworks stand and Will found a backpack stuffed full of fireworks!

Our kids were tired and cranky so we ended up heading home early and calling it a night!  We had a great day though and maybe next year we will make it to a parade or fireworks ;).
