{Witnessing a Miracle}

We are seriously witnessing a miracle in our neighborhood right now. My neighbors little girl Sage is doing so good! For those of you that didn't hear Saige was in a horrible accident last Friday. She was playing outside on their swing set and had a scarf on and got tangled up and ended up hanging herself. Her little brother (who is only 3) ran in and told his Mom Saige was bleeding (his only way of knowing how to say she was hurt) and Carmen went out to check on her daughter and found her. She cut her down and called 911 already sure her daughter was dead. She did CPR and miraculously got her breathing again. Life flight landed in our neighborhood, took her to Primary Children's and 48 hours later she was awake and talking! It is seriously a miracle! She is now walking and playing and is only showing minimal signs of damage that with rehab can most likely be fixed. We are so grateful she is going to be okay!

(doesn't this pic make you cry)

It is such a strong example of the true power of prayer and of the priesthood. The outcome of Saige's accident is against all odds and is truly a miracle. I was so glad on Monday when they tore the swing set down and can now look out my window without feeling sick. Please keep the Jorgensen's in your prayers so that they can have the extra strength to make it through the coming weeks. Our hearts still ache for theirs knowing the daily routine at Primary's and how hard hospital living really is. This is the time when Mommy and Daddy get wore down the most and every prayer helps!
