Santa's Visit

While Will and I were finishing reading our stories tonight, we heard some jingle bells and went running out into the loft to see if it could really be Santa!!

It was!!!!!

Santa invited us down and was so nice!  

He gave Will some candy and asked him all about how good he has been this year. 

Santa even had Will give us all hugs!

He was in a hurry since its such a busy night for him but he did have a few minutes to tell us about Eli the Elf.  He told us that Eli is one of his most special elves and thanked Will for not touching him and being such a good boy.  Santa had a special spot for him in his big red bag so we said our final good byes to Eli until next year.

We sure do love you Santa!

We ran up to bed and Will listened to Santa and didn't move a muscle until he fell asleep :).  Thanks Santa!

Christmas Eve

Can you spy Eli in the Christmas tree?  Will found him right away!

Papa Brent and Gammy Stacy started out Christmas Eve by letting Will open his gift from them and he was so excited!

He got an awesome LEGO truck and some awesome wood blocks!

And of course he LOVES the bag Gammy made for his new blocks :)

Emmie got spoiled too!

Will thought the tower was pretty sweet!

And then of course.......

Haha he is such a boy!

We are all sick but Emmie is still one happy girl :)

Later that evening we made the traditional gingerbread houses

And then had to have a round of Nerf Wars

And then we got ready for bed so Santa could come!

(seriously how cute is this little girlie?!)

Before we headed to bed we thanked Eli for coming to join our family and told him good bye until next year.

Christmas at the Cabin

Tonight we loaded up the Jeep and made our way South to the cabin again this year.  We couldn't find Eli all morning and we were so excited to find him hiding out in the Jeep ready to go to the Cabin with us ;)

Our kids are really good travelers and it makes things so nice!

Once we got the cabin Will (Mr Bossy Pants as of late) insisted Gammy Stacy play Twister

My handsome hubby LOVES the cabin so much, especially for Christmas :)

Emmie and I are happy to be here too!

[eli the mischevious little elf]

Eli for the most part has been up to no good! Every morning we find him doing something silly and it has been a lot of fun. After our first day with Eli in the house Will kept telling me he wanted to throw Eli in the garbage, he wasn't liking having a special Elf watching his every move ;). Luckily Eli has grown on him and he LOVES looking for him every morning. We talk to Eli and tell him things like what Will wants for Christmas and also that at Preschool he only had to sit in the time out circle ONCE! Will is trying extra hard to be on the nice list and when he does have a few naughty moments he always has one eye on Eli to see if he's watching ;)

Eli the Elf

This morning we woke up to a fun surprise from Santa! We lovingly welcomed and adopted our new Elf, Eli. Eli is magical and as long as we don't touch him he flies back to Santa each night and reports if Will has been naughty or nice. We are so excited to have him in our home and cant wait to see what Eli is up to each morning!
