Surprise from the Beehive Class

This morning the Beehive leaders and myself got the best surprise ever from our adorable girls!  The girls planned the best surprise breakfast ever just for us and it was so delicious and not to mention so thoughtful!  I wish I would have had my camera though :).  We have the best YW EVER!!!!

Teaching the YW Suckers

I was so excited to get to be in charge of our beehive activity tonight and I had so much fun teaching the girls how to make suckers.  The girls were so creative and did such an awesome job!  We even finished up the night decorating cupcakes and had such a great night!

After our fun trips to NYC and Disneyland we decided to sell Mike's fancy schmancy camera and downgrade to the smaller Cannon Rebel T3i.  I was super excited Mike decided to make the change especially since the new camera will be getting a ton of use from me :).  While I was busy comparing the Cannon the Nikon I had been considering Mike and Will kept busy making silly faces with my point and shoot:

-Project Will's Room-

I am officially 100% full on nesting lately!  So today I ripped apart the spare bedroom which consisted of disassembling the bunk bed, dragging the pieces and mattresses to the garage, bagging up all the toys and moving the big cube bookcase to the garage.  I'm not going to lie it was definitely a project for little ol prego me!  But I did it and I am so excited to get working on Will's new room!

This morning we said a sad good bye to Aunt Whitni as she left for her new adventure in New York City.  We are so excited for her to spend a few months in the city and wish her the best of luck and of course safety!

Cabin for Conference

We were so excited to have a weekend off from our Sunday callings and couldn't wait to head to the cabin for the weekend.  Will was so good on the drive down and even got to have his first pee pee on the side of the road experience :).

We brought his scooter this time and Will ended up having so much fun circling the deck over and over again!

He was also super attached to Abby and drug her everywhere:

Saturday morning we decided to drive the Grand Canyon since we have been wanting to do it every time we come down the cabin.  It was a quick drive and had some pretty cool views along the way.

However when we got there we were informed that the road is still closed due to snow and normally doesn't open until May, oops!  Luckily we found a play set and let Will get all his wiggles out!

Saturday night we were excited to have Amanda and Ben join us on there way back home from San Diego.  It was a lot of fun having them and we were glad we could be there so they had a place to stay.  It was a great little weekend getaway as always, thanks Brent and Stacy!

I love when Will does things and I can totally see me in him!  He lined up all his Nerf darts today and when I walked in I couldn't stop laughing.  Luckily Will only has a few of my OCD tendencies :)

{san diego day 2}

The San Diego was absolutely gorgeous!  The weather was perfect and it was such a special day for Amanda and Ben.

We flew home after the luncheon which made for a pretty fast trip but I was glad I was able to share in Amanda's special day.  Congrats you two!!!

My cute family and I are excited to be heading back to San Diego today to share in Amanda and Ben's special temple sealing tomorrow.  We couldn't be any happier for them!

Bwah ha ha hilarious!  Luckily there is a shade that comes down or that would make for some awkwardness since I am sharing a room with Aimee and Brandi.  It has been such a fun day with my family and we have had an awesome time enjoying San Diego.  We are excited for the big day tomorrow!

FHE with The Larsens

Our cute friends Mark and Melissa just moved to Layton and we were lucky enough to be invited over for FHE tonight.  Will LOVED playing with Noah and we had such a fun time tonight!

Tangled

Mike is out of town for "work" (aka playing in Vegas and golfing in St George) so Will and I called up Gammy Stacy and we headed to see Tangled in 3D:

{disneyland day 3}

We woke up early and used our early entry to get into the park an hour early for our last day here.  Will was so excited to have his own special ticket to board the monorail this time :)

We headed straight to Finding Nemo:

Nemo was definitely one of Will's favorites this year.  It was so cute to watch him!

We were excited to check out Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer's Island this year since it was closed last year.

This captures how much Will loved it!  He ran everywhere!!

I'm pretty sure he was seriously thinking about how to get that treasure!

Will and I were waiting for the big kids to go on a big kid ride and happened to catch the Toy Story Army Men show:

We finished out the trip with having a very memorable experience at LAX!  Will hadn't gone 'number two' this whole trip and so when we finally settled in at our gate he started doing the I have to go poopie and then refusing to sit on the potty routine.  So after I took him about 3 or 4 times Mike took a turn and when they got back I knew something funny had to have just happened!  When they got into the stall Mike couldn't get Will's belt off and so about then Will started screaming things like 'don't touch me', 'I want my mommy' etc etc.  So after a few minutes of trying to convince him to calm down and sit on the potty Mike finally gave up.  As he excited the stall he noticed a very large security guard 'washing his hands'.  The guard was kind of laughing and chatted a bit with Mike.  Its a good thing he could tell Mike was Will's Daddy!  We were definitely impressed with someone being so observant and getting security though just in case it was a bad situation.

I love how you can tell Will knows he was being naughty :) 

And sadly headed home!

We had such a fun time again this year at Disneyland!  It was a completely different trip with Will being older and we absolutely loved watching him experience everything again.  We definitely picked the best time to come and were surprised at how empty the park was.  It was so nice and we hardly had to wait for any of the rides.  Although it seems like I posted a ton of pics, we did so much more than I even documented!  It was so much fun!  We felt like 3 days in the park was just about right and cant wait to come back again!
