Pumpkins with the Sandberg's

We forgot to take a lot of pics but tonight we went to Stacy and Brent's house to carve pumpkins with the Sandberg's. It is always so much fun to see everyone and we wish we did it more often.

Our pumpkin didn't really turn out so no finished pic this year!

Somedays I feel like a bad Mom

Today was one of those days:
Please tell me its normal to ignore your kids
meltdowns every once in a while :)

Uh-oh, its quiet!

Usually when Will is quiet for a few minutes I run into the room to find him doing something dangerous or naughty but today I was pleasantly surprised!

This is what I found:
So dang adorable!
I guess this really is the whole families favorite blanket!

The Scott's Birthday Club

Mike, Rogan, Whitni, and John all have really close birthdays so its tradition that we celebrate them all together! This year we went to John and Yana's house and had dinner and cake.

Angie is only a year older than Will and it is so fun to watch them together!

Angie with her bow:

Angie giving Will her bow:

He immediately said, "WOW" ha ha!

Okay so look at Will's facial expression,
now look at mine,
ha ha classic!

ENOUGH of the bow!
Will was being a little shy until Grandpa John bribed
him with some candy!

It worked!
We had so much fun catching up and getting to spend time with everyone! Thanks so much for all the preparation and thoughtfulness!

Gardner Village

Today we headed to Gardner Village for the afternoon and had so much fun together! I love how cute they decorate everything and it really gets you in the mood for fall.

Coed Softball

Ashley invited me to play on a Coed Softball team this fall and I was excited to dust off the cleats and give it my best shot! We pretty much sucked though and lost every game of our season. I was definitely a little rusty but didn't do as bad as I thought I would. I think if we would have been in a different division we ALL would have had more fun. Oh well there's always next year!

Will climbing all over the place:

Will was my biggest fan:

Woo hoo!(that's me hitting the ball, I am SURE it was a home run :)

I love this pic Mike got:
Its crazy to think that before I know it William will be playing ball! I cant wait :)

~Will+Daddy time~

One thing I absolutely LOVE about my cute hubby is that he genuinely loves spending time with our little Will. He is always willing to help without being asked and can usually tell when I need some 'me' time :)

Right by Daddy! Soo cute, I love it!

Will is such a boy and LOVES the shed lately. His favorite thing is to move the tools back and forth on the lower shelves and hit them against the walls like Daddy does in the basement. Its so funny how much he tries to be like Dad!

Mike decided to dust off his childhood Radio Flyer that his Mom gave us and take Will for a ride. Good thing we don't live on any hills so Mike could REALLY take him for a ride :)

I seriously LOVE my boys!

Anybody else?

Ha ha I thought this was funny!
October is a busy month for us!

Bringing the Ketchup Restaurant Home

Will is starting to feel a little bit better and today for lunch he was actually eating again. It started out with corn dogs and apple sauce. Then some ketchup......then fruit loops.......with ketchup?!

I was laughing so hard! It was so gross but Will was lovin it! He was even picking out which fruit loop to eat next and then would carefully dip it in the ketchup :) Soo funny!

Tips & Tricks of DC

Today was such a LONG day! I woke up early and drove to Idaho Falls to pick up little Will. I missed him soo much! The poor little guy was sick pretty much the whole time we were gone. Thank goodness for my Mom and Aimee who took such good care of him.

I was prepared for him to pretty much ignore me when I got there and I was spot on! It was funny :) After about 5 minutes though he was pretty clingy to me so that made me feel better. We got home and Will was so happy to be home again too! He just kept running around and being silly.
We did get some great news about our Travelocity fiasco. Before we checked out yesterday Hilton ended up taking off about $120 of our current bill and we finally got word that Travelocity is going to refund us about the same amount. So all in all were still out about $200 but that is still better than $350! A BIG THANK YOU to Stacy for being so diligent and getting things worked out for us! I am pretty sure I will NEVER make that mistake again :)

Some things I want to remember for our next trip to DC and anyone planning a trip there is:
~Pay more money and stay closer to The National Mall or a Metro stop. Taxi's are expensive!
~Plan on taking the Metro everywhere. It is super easy and inexpensive.
~Either plan on spending all day in a museum, or plan on just stopping briefly at all the main points of interest.
~Most everything is FREE when you get to DC!
~Take the Metro to and from the Airport.

I LOVED Washington DC. There was so much to do and see and we loved all the history there. I cant wait to go back and take Will :)
